My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This young 14 month old, AKC registered, guy is a gentle giant. He knows sit, wait (stay) and come. Working on the down.
He crawls up on the couch to cuddle with me any time I sit down and when I sit down to check email he sprawls across my lap to get hugs. He is a gentle giant with a heart as big as the Big Sky. He is a lover and gentle giant, but I can see where he can get into trouble. As I sat down to write this he decided that the papers needed to be removed off my desk and gently grabed them (no slober or anything) and started to pull them off the desk.
He watches everyone and everything closely and tilts his head to the side as if figuring it all out. Passed the Oliver test with flying colors - absolutely no cat aggression. He wants to please in the worst way - loves his treats. Will need some weight put on him - right now his body looks too small for the huge paws and large head.
Calmed down in the house, likes to play but will stop when you do and returns to calm quickly. Awesome boy!!!
He is too large for Ben's taste but we all love his personality and antics. I think he doesn't realize that he is a large dog and sees himself as a small lapdog. Reminds me of that movie the UGLY Dacshund. He learns quickly - told him twice out of the kitchen while we were cooking and he laid down at the threshold and didn't move.
I will be working on house rules - such as no head on the counter while I am preparing food or eating. Learning down command and how to walk on a leash. As he gets back to body weight and muscle- this miniture horse of a dog will be very powerful so needs to learn now.
