Tipper's Story...
This is Tipper. We found Tipper tied in her yard . She lived in a tiny little cage attached to her dog house. The owners were afraid to keep her because they lived on a busy corner and were afraid she'd get off her tether and get hit. So now she is available for another loving family with a fenced in yard so she can get some exercise. She's about 2, spayed, nice big dog..you can really tell she is a Great Dane mix. She is really a nice dog, too,......rode well in the car. Very strong and hard to walk, though. She'll need some training of leash walking, but that's easy. I've even done it! :-) She came from a home with very small children and other dogs, but I wouldnt recommend a home with small children, because she's a happy dog and that tail of hers can really smart if it hits a little kid. Tipper's adoption fee of $175 is refundable if she needs to be returned. We love out dogs and always want to know where they are. If interested call 810-252-1988 to meet her, and fill out the online application and email it to Christine@kirbysfriends.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tipper, a Swartz Creek Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Swartz Creek, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Swartz Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Swartz Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Swartz Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Swartz Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
