Here's what the humans have to say about me:
N/M, 4 years, Hound/Boxer mix, 30 lbs
Hi there everyone! I am a happy, easygoing, and outgoing young man. I
enjoy life to its fullest and I would love to be the life-long member
of an active family who wants a dog to share in their adventures.
My family was truly very sad to relinquish me to MaxFund but they just
couldn't keep me safe - they weren't allowed a secure fence around
their yard and I need one 6 feet high. Since I am quite small that may
surprise you but I am an energetic dog who can jump 3 and 4 foot
fences with absolutely no problem! I am also very smart even to the
extent that I figured out how to unbuckle my leash when I was tied up
out side. Now, please understand, I don't want to run away – I am just
bound by my hound instincts to follow an interesting scent and run
until I find the source, however far that is! Therefore on hikes I
should not be let off leash in case I start running and get lost.
I like everyone I have met so far – kids and adults are all great. I
like other friendly dogs. I have no experience with cats. I know I
like chasing rabbits (it's the hound in me again!). I am housetrained
and I don't chew things I am not meant to, or do other silly
puppy-stuff like that. I do enjoy playtime and I just love running!
If you would like to visit me, maybe we could go for a walk as well? I
am always ready for some exercise and I love meeting people so please
come to the shelter and ask for George - anytime!
