SPECIAL NEEDS Limited Vision
Darling Marie has limited vision from a covering over her eyes that was the result of the feline herpes virus she caught when she was a kitten. Marie was born a stray, and came to the Catnip cottage quite a sickly kitten. Marie is very healthy and strong now, although she will most likely always have diminished vision. Marie can quite clearly see something as she is a lively, playful and interactive girl. Marie is very well-mannered, sweet and charming.

Rescue Group Info...

We are an all-foster home, no-kill, cageless, no time limit feline sanctuary. We rescue high-risk cats the shelters and veterinarians will not otherwise offer for adoption. We focus on "special needs" and mature animals, although not ALL of our adoptable cats are mature or have a special need. We take these pets into our homes, socialize them with our own families and provide for all their needs until they are adopted. We stand behind our adopted pets for their entire lives. Some of our sanctuary pets are socialized, vetted and trained to provide pet therapy services to area rehabilitation and assisted living facilities.
You can meet our pets in purr-son by calling the foster parent and arranging an appointment at their foster home. We also hold adoptathons on occasion at the Azalea Square PetsMart, Summerville, SC or at Petco in Walterboro, SC on Bells Highway.
1. interview with the foster parent or a member of the Board of Directors

3.a. Our contract stipulates that cats must be indoor cats unless specifically agreed upon in writing by us otherwise. Likewise, our contract also forbids declawing unless we specifically approve in writing.
