SKITTLES's Story...
PLEASE READ THIS PROFILE AND THE REQUESTED CRITERIA BEFORE CALLING OR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION

HERE'S SKITTLES...a petite, tan/black tipped, 2 yr old, Shih Tzu/Poodle/Terrier ?? mix, weighing in at a whopping 7 lbs!! Skittles was adopted by the public and was being returned because he can be a little persnickety when "pushed." If he doesn't like something, he'll let you know!! He was adopted for a senior person and apparently, he didn't like his new guardian much -- but then they only gave him a day to get acquainted!! He's only 7 lbs for Dog's sake! Skittles is a little slow to trust, but once he does, he's your little guy! In fact, that's the name his foster mom/dad gave him "Little Guy." He seems to be potty trained, but no guarantees. He loves other dogs, toys, treats and playtime. He loves to be held and sleeping in your is where he will demand to be!! This is a good boy who needs a patient mom and dad and no kids please. He's very loving unless you want to clean his ears or eyes!! Best home would be one where he can have a one on one relationship and go with you everywhere. He certainly is small enough!! Skittles will make a wonderful companion to the right home. Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag! Thanks for thinking rescue and adoption!!

Come see this pup at one of our adoptions events, either at My Pet Naturally (see calendar for event dates)....or on Sunday in Brentwood (near Los Angeles) at the Farmer's Market or at a special event we may be doing. Why Adoption is a Great Option

SKITTLES, a Los Angeles Shih Tzu/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
