Toby (AR)'s Story...
Our little boys Toby, Tanner and Tucker are great playmates and typical little boys rough and tumble kind of kids. What do boys do? Play!! Toby and his brothers love to get into things, love to play and run around the house, they are just all boy and full of themselves!! Right now they just need to play, play, play anything will do to play with paper, foil, bottle tops if they can bat it around they will play with it. Please do not interrupt play time but when they get tried they do enjoy some belly rubs. These boys are a bundle of joy we do hope that they can be adopted with another cat in the house or possible with one of their brothers. The boys are vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and when old enough will be altered and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Toby or his brothers please call us at 973-785-1245 or email us at adopt@startpets.net. You can start the process and access our pre-adoption application which is located on our website at www.startpets.net, click on "adoptions". Please remember—out of state adoptions require additional time pending our officers approval; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; an application does not guarantee an adoption; not all animals on our website come to all adoption days.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby (AR), a Little Falls Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Little Falls, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Little Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Little Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Little Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Little Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
