UPDATED BIO 01/22/09: JADA is a beautiful 4 y/o yorkie who weighs 12#, but would be healthier if she lost 1-2#. Otherwise, she is extremely healthy. Jada is being fostered in Ft. Myers, FL. Foster Mom reports that Jada-Jada- Jada is a very nice nap partner; no matter where her 'person' is resting, she is there ready to join you @ naptime - she also loves to sit on your lap and adores being - well - adored! If she's sitting beside you, and you aren't petting and adoring her, she will remind you by taking her paw and patting your arm, as if to say "Hey, remember me? I'm waiting to be petted here!" She is soooo sweet when she does this; Jada walks briskly on a leash, and loves to take long walks. She has a sensitive tummy and should only be fed dog food - never from the table. NoNo! Jada likes to carry on a conversation with her person by doing her own style of 'talking' - it seems like she's saying "Look at Me! Aren't I cute? PLEASE NOTE! Jada has been around small children in the past and has let her owner know that she does not want to live in a home with small children. NO SMALL CHILDREN under the age of 12 y/o please!
INITIAL BIO 12/26/08: MEET JADA! She is a beautiful 4 y/o yorkie who weighs 12# - she would be a healthier weight if she lost 1-2#. Otherwise, she is extremely healthy. Jada is an owner surrender whose owner was no longer able to care for her; Jada loves to take walks and run in the yard chasing squirrels, birds and lizards. She loves attention, playing with squeaky toys and being adored! :) She does get very excited to see people and jumps up to get attention. Jada has a fear of loud noises like weed wackers and fire works....she will run and hide when alone or run to her 'person' to be held and comforted. Jada's former owner said she would describe her as more of a tomboy yorkie - no diva yorkie here~! Jada is a really smart girlie - she is paper-trained and will also go outside to potty; she knows how to use a doggie door. Jada can be placed as an only dog, or with one other dog. PLEASE NOTE! Jada has been around small children in the past and has let her owner know that she does not want to be in a home with small children. NO SMALL CHILDREN under the age of 12 y/o please!
