Marshall's Story...
Hi I'm Marshall and I'm a big mushball!! I was wandering the streets all alone, tired and hungry. I'm slightly underweight right now so thank goodness these nice people rescued me and are giving me my 3 squares a day LOL. I am a strong boy who does need some training, but who can blame me - the other people who had me obviously didn't try to help me. Well that's all behind me now because I know I will get my forever home now. I am just the cutest kid and such a nice dog if I do say so myself! I am about 1-1/2 years old and now I'm neutered and up to date with my vaccinations. I love to go on long walks and maybe a hike or two. Won't you make my New Year's wish come true and make me a part of your family? For immediate consideration, please download our application from www.bobbiandthestrays.org and email it to adopt@bobbicares.org Thank you so much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marshall, a Freeport American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer for sale in Freeport, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
