My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moe is just too cute. His owners gave him up because they were moving out of state. He is about 2 years old and weighs about 7 pounds.

INFORMATION THAT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT ADOPTING A SMALL MALE DOG:

There is a great training aid called a belly band, which is really great!

Here is a video by G.W. Little to watch that shows them in action:

HERE ARE OTHER PLACE TO PURCHASE THEM:

Designer Doggie Belly Bands

Essentially, you put the belly band on your little guy while he's supervised in the house and take it off when you take him outside for a potty trip.

We do not recommend leaving any dog unattended with any kind of clothing on - belly bands are training aids that need supervision and a commitment of your time.

If he hikes his leg inside the house, he soon finds he is just peeing on himself... you then change the pad and put the band back on him. Of course, you'll need to take it off him for trips outside to the bathroom on a regular basis to train him to the proper place to relieve himself.

We have had great success with them... We had a terrible little leg hiker, and it only took a few days of training with a belly band and he started eliminating outside and was happy just marking the trees.

A belly band is also great for going to visit friends and not worrying about any accidents.
