Bull Terrier Mix

My name is Dixie. I am about 9 months old and I am looking for my forever home. I get along with children, other dogs, and even cats. I love to play and I am very smart (I did very well at puppy school). I am house-trained and crate-trained. I have been spayed and received all of my vaccinations. I am friendly, dedicated and I love EVERYONE.

If you want to take me home, contact my foster mom at dorothygoodenough@yahoo.com Please tell her about your family and other pets and hours away from home each day.

If you would like more information about one of the dogs featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day.
Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Kingwood Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
