Fletcher's Story...
Hey dude, Fletcher here. You can call me Fletch, Fletchinator or just Dude. I am a young fun, active kid and let me tell you I am ridiculously awesome. I love to play with other dogs, I am super into people, kids 5+ are totally cool too but I may be a bit too playful for really little kids. But dude, no cats, ok. Those felines are made for chasin as far as I'm concerned, and I am a good boy with no desire to cause any trouble, so a home with no cats equals no trouble. As you can see, I am quite good looking, a total hunk if I may say so myself. I am a Pit Bull Terrier, and what a totally excellent breed we are! If you love Pit Bulls you will think I am one stellar fella. I am smart, athletic, super social, eager to please and always happy to see a new face. So come check me out, take me out for a walk, and hopefully take me for a car ride right on back to your house. That would be radical!! 1 year old-52lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; neuter, microchip, 6 week training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam (in the Portland/Milwaukie area), leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fletcher, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
