I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sallee's Info...

I am already spayed, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sallee's Story...
Yes, I do have big beautiful ears. Just like a chihuahua, but I am shy and scared right now, so I am not really up to showing them off. You have to come in and meet me, spend some time getting to know me, then I'll show you some ear! Once you spend a little time with me you'll see that I am a very sweet fragile girl, a little handful of love eager to trust again. It will take a patient person, a quiet home and lot of love but in time I will come out of my shell. I am great with other animals but need a home without young rowdy kids. Like I said, a quiet loving person is all I need......
1 year old-8lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; spay,6 week training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam (in the Portland/Milwaukie area), leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sallee, a Portland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
