Parker's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and not good with dogs.

Parker's Story...
Parker is a mix of pug and yellow lab, whatever that is called! He was found as a stray dog and rescued from a shelter that euthanizes every dog that doesn't go to rescue as they don't adopt to the public. Parker is about 1 year old and he weighs just 35 pounds. He gets along with respectful kids and large female dogs, but he would be just fine as an only dog. He doesn't like male dogs and plays too rough for small dogs or cats. Parker is living in a home kennel setting and will need some help re-establishing his house training. He is a smart boy and would do well in obedience training to help him learn to be a good canine citizen. Parker's $150 adoption fee through his 501c3 non profit rescue covers his neuter, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming and HomeAgain microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parker, a Osseo Pug/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Labrador Retriever for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Pug/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pug/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
