Albert's Story...
Albert is a magnificent extra-large purebred ragdoll boy who just turned 6. He has a soft flamepoint coat and deep blue eyes. Albert is bonded with his sister Sadie and they would like to be adopted together. Albert takes a little longer to warm up than his sister, but after only a week in foster care he is already playing with feather toys, enjoying lots of petting, and giving big fluffy hugs! Albert has not lived with children before and is sometimes startled by loud noises, so he would like to meet all potential family members to see how he feels about younger kids. Indoor-only home is required and declawing is prohibited by our adoption contract. We do not ship cats and must meet all applicants prior to adoption. If you are interested in adoption, please fill out our preliminary screening application here: http://ragdollrescue.com/application.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Albert, a Keizer Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Keizer, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Keizer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Keizer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Keizer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Keizer paves the way for another one to be saved.
