Lena's Info...

Lena's Story...
Lena is one lovely and elegant pooch. She has a gorgeous chocolate coat with a velvetly sheen and long legs with freckles on her feet. This special dog has a calm energy about her which is a rarity among young shelter dogs. Lena is so grateful for attention from volunteers and will lay her head in your lap to be petted. In return she offers sweet doggies kisses. Lena has clearly already captured the attention of both staff and volunteers due to her gentle nature. We're hoping some kind person will want to bring this dear dog into their lives soon so she can shine as we know she will.

Act quickly to adopt Lena. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lena, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
