TRISTAN

name changed to

FRANKIE BLUE EYES

upon arrival at his CODA foster home

The first photo is Tristans Shelter Photo prior to his arrival at C.O.D.A.

Deaf Male Purebred Catahoula Leopard Dog

Tristan is a 6-8 month old Deaf Male Catahoula Leopard Dog

Tristan has the most mesmerizing blue eyes and is a very friendly and a normal,
playful puppy

Tristan found himself in a high kill shelter in KY after his owners were threatening
to shoot him

( probably because he wasn't listening to them- often a plight of deaf dogs
who's owners haven't figured out they're deaf)

We were contacted by Simpson County KY Animal Shelter to help save Tristan's
life.

Thanks to our wonderful
CODA parents( to our adopted Great Dane Claire) for agreeing to foster Tristan
to save his life

We were filled here at our main facility when the plea for help for Tristan
arrived

So without the help of our wonderful foster homes dogs like Tristan would
be dead instead of happily playing

and learning house manners

Thanks to Andrew ( Sara and Wizzard's new Dad) for driving Tristan from KY
to

our main facility here in Cleveland Ohio while he was driving up to meet his
new little darlings Sara Bella and Wizzard

It was a long ride for Tristan who isn't fond of riding in cars and also not
found of being crated

An even longer ride for Andrew due to Tristan having issues on the way up:)

Tristan was very stressed out during his journey but relaxed almost instantly
upon his arrival at CODA

Tristan immediately jumped out of his transport vehicle and started running
and playing in the new CODA Dog Park

enjoying the newly fallen snow that arrived just in time for Tristan to have
wonderful fun romping in the freshly fallen snow

Tristan is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations

Tristan's neuter stitches will be removed the week of Dec 23rd

Tristan arrived very underweight but is eating well and should be up to his
normal weight very soon

UPDATES ON TRISTAN aka FRANKIE BLUE EYES COMING SOON

UPDATE 12/23/07

Tristan's stitches from his neuter surgery were removed today and he has healed
nicely

Tristan has gained a good amount of weight after just one week in his foster
home

Tristan currently weighs 48 lbs and looks much better already

Tristan has learned his signs for the following commands in one short week
in foster care

'Sit' , 'Come', 'No' and is working on learning
' lay' or ' down'

Tristans housebreaking skills are coming along nicely also

Tristan is non destructive when left out unattended in his foster home but
loves to destroy his stuffy toys:)

UPDATE 6/24/08

Updated Photo's of Frankie

Frankie moved to our main foster facilty on Easter Saturday 2008 and is doing
well.

Frankie is enjoying having active playmates here at CODA central

Frankie is crate trained, housebroken and coming along well on his sign training

Frankie rides wonderfully in the CODA van and LOVES to go for rides

Frankie was a total gentleman during his first trip to Petsmart today

Frankie walks well on a leash and is very well behaved when out in public

Frankie playing in the new CODA Dog Park

Pictured Frankie playing with Lilly and Montana

Frankie has a tennis ball hidden in his mouth that Lilly is trying to get
away from him

Montana is on the right just looking on as Frankie and Lilly tussle over the
tennis ball
