Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chevy Chase is as comically of a pup as his namesake. This poor guy was on the "list" at the local shelter & was rescued by one of our volunteers after hearing about how happy & spunky he is. At just around a year old & weighs just 42lbs, Chevy Chase is an extremely sweet boy, friendly with everyone he meets, gives kisses and snuggles up against you to greet. He is highly trainable, loves to run and play. He enjoys and gets along with other dogs. Chevy loves to sleep in his crate at night. He loves to dance and hop around with a treat which is very comical. Chevy will make a fantastic addition to any family.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR will be at PetLand Discounts in Southbury, CT on Friday, February 2nd from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at Petco in Southington, CT on Saturday, February 3rd from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be with the North Shore Animal League for the Kitten Bowl at Petco in Hamden, CT (Dixwell Avenue) on Sunday, February 4th from 11am-3pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
