Sierra's Info...

I am good with dogs.

Sierra's Story...
There are 8 of these pups and they were brought in from a home in which 85 dogs resided! Needless to say they could not be properly looked after and came to the NHS a little underweight and dirty. There are males and females, longhair and shorthair available. All are black and about 4-6 months old, except one female who's about 8 months and a beautiful red colour. She looks pretty much like a tiny, dark red golden retriever. These pups are mostly very friendly except for a shy 1 or 2 and seem like they'll make great, adaptable dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sierra, a Port Hope Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Port Hope, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Port Hope.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Hope already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Hope breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Hope paves the way for another one to be saved.
