My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LILY WILL WIN YOUR HEART…

We received a call from a shelter about a young female boxer that was surrendered to their facility. When she arrived at the shelter she was completely reactive and scared in her surroundings. They did not feel they could adopt her out.

After we agreed to take her into our rescue program, the shelter did a little research and found out that her previous “owner” had to “go away for a long time". Lily was left in the care of his elderly mother, and was kept crated on the back porch.

We had Lily transferred to a vet hospital to get spayed, heartworm tested, and to update her inoculations. After her arrival to a safe and friendly place she was a completely different boxer girl. She was extremely loving and affectionate.

Below is the first report from Lily's foster mom:

“ I just love Lily. She is such a great dog. She is completely different from when I picked her up. Now she is a very confident energetic girl who just loves attention and playing. It almost seems like she was just waiting for a chance to be herself. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet her.

After three days Lily has settled right in. The shy and cautious girl has vanished. Lily is full of personality and has been wonderful to have around. Lily loves to play with her foster brothers and sisters ( two boxers and a lab mix.) She is full of energy and LOVES to play outside in the fenced yard. She happily shares her food bowls, treats and toys with whomever wants them.

Lily seems house trained and knows how to sit and lay down. She walks well on a leash and is very friendly to everyone she has met. She loves to cuddle and her eyes just sparkle when she is being pet. Lily is a beautiful girl inside and out and she deserves the very best family. Is that you?”
