Dallas's Story...
Yeehaa!!! Texas BBQ, Texas Toast, Tex-Mex, man I’m riding a gravy train with biscuit wheels! I LOVE being from Texas lemme tell you! But hey, ‘ol Dallas will settle down just fine here in the Pacific Northwest as long as I can get out of this lonesome shelter and into a warm, loving home! You know, a place where I can get lots of training and socialization, a real long term commitment. It’s nice here and all, but the thought of being homeless leaves me feelin’ as cold as the ex-wifes heart, ya know? So be a friend and get me out a here and I’ll be as happy as a gopher in soft dirt!!! 10 weeks old-8lbs. My adoption fee is $260 and includes; microchip, reduced cost neuter and $25 rebate, 6 week Training Class, 1 month pet health insurance, Free veterinary exam (Portland/Milwaukie area), leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dallas, a Portland German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
