Frankie is a Black Labrador Retriever/Collie Mix. He is Black with a little White. Frankie is around 2 years old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 46 lbs.
Frankie is a laid back kind of guy. He wasn't very sure why he came to us but is very happy to be out of the pound. He warms up to new people within a few minutes and then once he really likes you he slowly walks over to you with his tail wagging and wants to sit next to you and get pet. He's a calm boy at times you are calm and then when you want to play he's all for it! He loves his pink loofa dog that he found hidden underneath his dog bed. He likes to carry it around the house and then stop and put it between his paws and chew on it. He'll come up on the bed and couch only when invited and is perfectly content sleeping by your feet. Frankie loves to meet new people and is learning that people are very nice and usually give him lots of hugs and pets on the head. He likes to go for car rides and enjoys spending time with the nice people around him. He just wants a family to love him and let him catch up on all the hugs and lovins he's missed so far.
Frankie would do well in any household. He loves adults, kids and other dogs. He takes just a few minutes to warm up to people and then once he knows your nice and friendly he'll walk over and wag his tail even more. He needs a very loving family who wants a dog to love and he'll love them right back!
Frankie is not aggressive with other dogs, he's has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
