My name is Barney!

Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever Mix Dog for adoption in Kyle, Texas - Barney

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Barney's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Barney's Story...
Barney appears to be a Golden Retreiver/Great Pyrenees mix, approx. 2
years old, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, shots/bordatella, and wormed.
He has a slight case of heartworms which is easily treated and is
currently on Heartguard Plus. He weighs 60 lbs and should be approx. 70
lbs when at his full weight.

He is very sweet and shy until he gets to know you. He is very attentive
and loving to humans and he just adores hotdogs as treats! He is
housebroken, not a chewer and would do well inside or out. He seems to
do well with children, other dogs and is very much interested in cats
although not in a negative way!

He has the gentle demeanor of a pyr and the playful/attentiveness of a
golden which makes for a great mix -- Can you give Barney a home to call
his own?

If you are interested in giving Barney a new home, please contact TGPR or complete an adoption form found at http://www.geocities.com/txgrtpyrs

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Kyle Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
