Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Tinsel!
I came to my foster parents just in time for Christmas. It has been an interesting few weeks as I was in heat and there is a girl and a boy beagle that also live with me. I am due to be spayed on Monday, January 12th so that I can be adapted to my forever home. I am very tiny and only weigh 15 lbs. with my back measuring about 12” from the ground. I was very shy at first and hid in a corner behind a chair that I could peek around to see what was going on. Now I also seek safety in my cage, it’s my own personal space. I still run and hide at any noise but I at least look around to see what made the noise. Every once in a while I’ll actually get up enough nerve to stand my ground and face the noise. My foster mom says that I’ve made great improvements when socializing with people. We had a big New Year’s Eve party and I was more than willing to sit with anyone who would give me attention and tell me how adorable I am (that happens a lot). I have also been told that I walk very nice on a leash, apparently some dogs pull – but not me! I get along great with the other dogs in the family and have been on two car rides so far with no problems. I stay in a crate during the day when my family is gone and that seems to work out well. I am working on going potty outside with the other dogs but have a little way to go yet with that. At night, when I get sleepy, I like to snuggle with my family on the couch, take a little nap, and maybe get a belly rub. So, if you would like a petite dog that is a little shy, but absolutely the cutest thing in the world, for a best friend – I’M YOUR GIRL!
