Fargo von Frankfurt's Story...
Fargo von Frankfurt is a gorgeous 12 month old classic German Shepherd. We were asked by a far away shelter to take him because he was already on borrowed time and he was such a favorite. He's a stunning boy. Fargo knows sit and lay down, especially if he has a treat in front of him. He will lay down, munch the treat and turn over for belly rubs right after. He's a lover and if you sit on the floor he will come over, put his head in your lap and again turn over for the belly rubs. He's still a little bit of a puppy, and can mouth gently (no bite). Fargo needs a little training on leash, but he learns very quickly. He weighs around 75 pounds. He gets along with other dogs. He's a wonderful boy for the right home. He should probably go to a family without small children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fargo von Frankfurt, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
