Palmer's Info...

I am good with cats.

Palmer's Story...
I was found alone outside in early December when I was only 6 or 7 weeks old and turned into an animal hospital where they took care of me for a short time. Now I'm in a foster home learning how to get along with other kittens. I'm extremely cuddly and turn into a purr ball at the drop of a hat. I have joined Jellybean and Perry in a foster home and can be adopted with either of them, or on my own, if you already have someone for me to play with at home. If you are interested in meeting me, please call Norma at (630) 897-8738, or visit our website to download and application!

P.S. The first picture is of me, the other two are my new friends, Jellybean and Perry.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Palmer, a Montgomery Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Montgomery, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Montgomery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montgomery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montgomery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montgomery paves the way for another one to be saved.
