Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Contact Information: Nevada County Animal Shelter located at 14647 Mc Courtney Road, in Grass Valley Ca., 95949, call to get information at 530-470-2707 ask to speak with head kennel attendant Ruth or kennel assistant Debbie. ALL NEVADA COUNTY SHELTER ANIMALS WILL BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED BEFORE ADOPTED OUT OF THE SHELTER.
*CHAMP*..is a Shelter Puppy Dog:
adoption date is 1-16-09 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date, As of this Month this Pooch is still at the shelter in need of rescue
Champ is around 1 to 2 Years old, Size: Large 61-100 lbs, more towards 65ish pounds, walks on a leash, sat when I asked, he appears to be sweet & loving, pretty well mannered at the shelter, may like to join puppy class after he gets to know you, is just a little hand shy, loves to roll over on his back for belly rubs and is a sweet young man looking for a new family to love.
Ruth the Head Kennel Attendant gave a little test by looking in Champ's mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paws and giving little kisses and hugs. Champ appeared to past the test, he's just a little hand shy, other then that there were no problems, he's a super sweet pup with a lot of love to give his new family. Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Champ to play and be safe in. We feel he may make an outstanding fun loving family member and super loyal companion . (If you have children, it may be best if they were at least 10 years old and up, only because of Champ being a little hand shy)
If you wish, Champ can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter.
Hours Of Operation:
Monday through Saturday open 1:00 pm, close 4:00 pm,, Sunday, closed
PLEASE HELP SAVE CHAMP FROM BEING DESTROYED!
