Autumn's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Autumn's Story...
This poor old girl was found wandering on Pacific Coast Highway near a park. She was skin and bones, scared, confused, and an all around mess. She had open sores on her ears and nose (you can see the pink scar in the picture) from flies, and she had large pressure sores on her elbows and hips. Anyhow, a very kind woman saw her, and followed her into the park and coaxed her over to her with a taco. Autumn was her new best friend, she could not wait to jump in the car and get out of there - she actually pushed her way into the wrong car she wanted to go so bad. She was filthy so we took her and gave her a bath - she was soo exhausted she fell asleep in the tub. She is sleeping on my bed with her head resting on my pillow right now, but she is looking for a home where she can be pampered, loved and never have to worry about her next meal ever again. She is probably about 8 or 9 years old and is a little stiff in her rear - she gets Glucosamine and MSM three times a day with her overflowing meals to fatten her up, and already she does not seem quite so stiff. She is totally housetrained and just wants a nice soft bed and a person to love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a El Segundo Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in El Segundo, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in El Segundo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Segundo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Segundo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Segundo paves the way for another one to be saved.
