Stevie came to us on Christmas Eve. His eyes were crusted shut and dripping with infection. Upon being examined by a vet it was discovered that he had 'entropion', inward rolling of the eyelids. On January 9th Stevie underwent surgery to correct this painful problem and for the first time in a long time he is able to see. His situation is complicated further because he tested positive for FIV (Feline AIDS). He is young and in very good health so he has a good chance of living a long life. FIV can be contagious with a deep bite. However, Stevie is very gentle and the chances of him biting another cat are very slim. He has been out and about with seven other cats and so far everything is fine. If you are able to open your heart and home to this wonderful guy please call us.
