Tyler's Story...
Tyler is a wonderful little guy. The woman who found him and first tried to locate his family reports that he did not have ANY accidents in the house during his entire 3 day stay. Likewise, he has had no accidents in his kennel during his stay at Garrett. He was very good about chewing on toys and not furniture, and as long as a toy or bone was available, he chewed on that. If you are thinking of offering one of our animals a loving, forever home, please do not hesitate to call us at 573-642-7443!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyler, a Fulton Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Fulton, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Fulton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fulton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fulton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fulton paves the way for another one to be saved.
