Jack's Story...
Hi! I'm Jack! Born November 2008. My siblings, Chrissy, Ralph and I are all such loving kittens. We were a little unsure of people when we first came into rescue, but we quickly warmed up and now you can't keep us off you! We are always waiting by the door for some lovin' just purring away. I literally will not stay off your lap! I just want attention and pets all the time! Come adopt me!

All kittens & cats are treated for worms & parasites, treated with Revolution for fleas and ear mites, tested for FIV/FELV, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped (registered with Avid). Only $70 adoption fee for this $400 value!

All our kitties are kept in foster homes or at PetsMart Naples. To adopt a kitty online, please visit our website: www.volunteerservicesforanimals.com and fill out an adoption application. You may e-mail the completed application to vsarescue@aol.com or fax to 239-261-4768. Upon receipt, a phone interview will be conducted and a meeting set, pending final approval of your application.

Please note, the website is updated daily so if a pet you are interested in is still online, most of the time it is still available for adoption. We do get more than one person interested in a particular pet at any given time, so the only way to ensure you get to adopt the pet you want, is to fill out an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Naples Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naples, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Naples.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naples already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naples breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naples paves the way for another one to be saved.
