My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1/17/09 Shorty is a 3 year old Feist and is as cute as a button. She was an owner surrender and I has been raised around kids, loves people, and is a very happy little dog according to her foster mom. She does like to hunt, run and play so she would benefit from a fenced yard. The only thing she shies from is gun shot...she was trained to hunt squirrels but is a little gunshy...can't hardly blame her...those things are loud! She's fine with other dogs but would need to be fed separately because she can get territorial with her food if the other dog does. She is OK with indoor cats but if they run she will chase them. She primarily lived outside in her former home so she's learning to live inside and getting some manners and learning to do her business outside. She doesn't climb or dig.

**all our dogs are in partner shelters in the south. Shorty can come north in a few weeks if you'll agree to foster or adopt her.
