IZZY lived for a long time at a sanctuary that had more dogs and cats than they could care for, so other sanctuaries and shelters offerred to help. BTW took Izzy, Tilda, and Junie Moon.
Izzy was living in a small outdoor kennel, trusting and loving her caretaker, but otherwise not socialized. She's met a few more people since coming here, but not a lot. She loves people and other dogs -- and they love her. Even solitary White Bull cuddles with her at night.
Getting into a car worries her very much, which will gradually change as she discovers that cars can take you to exciting places you couldn't otherwise see! She's extremely intelligent and when she finds her own special someone to show her the outside world and help her learn good manners, she'll go to the head of the class.
She's loyal and loving, strong and beautiful and athletic. Izzy would make a wonderful running/hiking/camping partner.
