Mei's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mei's Story...
What a lucky pup this is!

Found on the side of a country road after she was apparently struck by a car, this little fawn-colored female fortunately only sustained a cut on her rear leg. Shocked and confused, she was again very lucky when a kind person picked her up and took her straight to a vet.

Mei feels like new again and loves to carry soft toys around in her mouth and enjoys chewing rawhides. Aloof around strangers, she is friendly and affectionate with people she knows. She rides well in the car and has great house manners. Mei is almost 6 months old and is small for a chow—she is just 25 lbs. Mei's adoption fee is $150 and includes spay surgery, a microchip and free registration in your name, up-to-date vaccines, and current on flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Dogs come with a complimentary collar and leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mei, a Greensboro Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
