Christmas is looking for a forever family to call his own. He is currently in a wonderful foster home. Please give this great dog a chance at a forever home!
Christmas is a loving sweetheart! He absolutely loves people and getting treats from them. He is a super happy dog who is always wagging his tail exuberantly to express his happiness. He is a very fun goofball. Christmas loves his daily outings to the dog park. He enjoys running around and greeting all the other dogs and people. He would make a great exercise partner. Christmas likes to chew on rawhide chews and has absolutely no aggression issues - food or otherwise. He is even house-trained and has great house-manners!
Pit bulls are known for their love of children - Christmas is fantastic with kids! He is absolutely wonderful with other dogs. He just showed up at the shelter on Christmas Day of 2009 and made himself at home in the other dogs' houses. It took our director several days to catch him, but she was amazed at the fact that he was allowed in the houses by all the other dogs, even the ones who generally don't like other dogs - If you have a dog that doesn't usually get along with other dogs, but you are wanting a second one, than Christmas might be the dog for your family. We would actually prefer he went to a family with another dog because he does so well with them. Christmas is NOT good with cats.
Christmas is about 3 years old and is a Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix. He weighs approximately 63 pounds. He is a very handsome boy!
Christmas' adoption fee is $125 which includes his neuter surgery and vaccinations (rabies and parvo/distemper). We show dogs by appointment or at adoption events. Four Paws Rescue is a private, 501(c)3, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs and cats. Four Paws has been rescuing dogs and cats since 2000. We rescue stray and abandoned cats, dogs, puppies and kittens from high-kill shelters, place them in caring foster homes (if available) and then adopt them into loving, life-long home.
Since our shelter is not set up for drop by visits, appointments can be made with our Director to meet any dog in person. Just leave a detailed message with Lisa (Director) at 435-752-3534 or email her volunteer at scfourpaws@hotmail.com.
Our adoption fees range from $125-200. Each pet is spayed or neutered, and current on rabies, parvo and distemper vaccinations
Four Paws Rescue is located in Cache Valley in Northern Utah. We mainly focus on Utah and surrounding states adoptions, but have done a few out-of-state adoptions as well.
