Romeo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Romeo's Story...
Romeo is a quite little guy with engaging green eyes. He has a favorite napping chair that he has claimed as his throne. You can pretty much find him there any time of the day. Romeo adores having his chin scratched and belly rubbed as he stretches all out for you, like only cats can do! When you cuddle Romeo in your arms, he curls up into a littlle ball, but with some petting and gentle words, he will start to relax and then fall asleep. Shy and timid but never defensive, Romeo will require a quiet home filled with love, patience and lots of hugs...that would be all he needs to show his true potential. He does get along well with other cats and would probably enjoy feline friends.

If you would like to look into adopting Romeo, please contact Alley Cat Guardians at 209-567-3570 or by email at adoptions@alleycatguardians.org to start the adoption process.

Romeo is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV/FELV

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Modesto Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Modesto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Modesto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Modesto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Modesto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Modesto paves the way for another one to be saved.
