Nicole's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Nicole's Story...
Nicole is a very small, shy, and sweet Sheltie. She will do best in a home without children as she is very shy and has a typically skittish sheltie personality. Sheltie's do not make friends quickly. It takes you time to earn their trust. However, they make wonderful new friends once they have learned to love you. Adoption fee is $175 and includes vaccinations, wormings, heartworm test and spay/neuter.
If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please go to www.PetJamboree.com and fill out our online application for adoption. A foster mom will contact you right away!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nicole, a Fort Wayne Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Fort Wayne, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Fort Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
