Hello- I'm SPICE! My sister and I are both up for adoption. We are 10 months old.
We will be spayed and up to date on shots prior to meeting our adoptive family. We have already been treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and we are both housetrained/litterbox trained. We both get along very well with other cats, with dogs and we do well with both children and adults. We have a VERY rough start to life and are just so thankful for our wonderful indoor life now! Our foster home says that we are the best kitties she has ever had! We like to be held, snuggle in bed and sit next to you on the couch. We are both very loveable and friendly! Because of our very rough past, we will be shy when we first meet our new adoptive family- but after a little time, once you show us that you are devoted and committed to us and that we will be indoors only-- we will be forever devoted to you! I love to give kisses and to be held and sit on your lap. Oh and did I mention I like to snuggle? I've also been told that I have a great Purr! My sister and I are very loveable felines!

***Please note, cats are extremely routine oriented pets. It may take 2 week to fully adjust to a new home environment. Please remember to be patient when bringing a new feline into your home. ***

1. A phone or e-mail interview will be conducted
2. If approved, an Advocates 4 Animals member will contact you and schedule a 'meet & greet' with the adoptable pet
The 'meet & greet' will be held in your home.
3. At that time of the home visit, we will assess if the pet(s) is a good match for both the
family/individual adopting the pet and the home environment.
Please note:
-All individuals living in the home must agree to adopt the pet into their home. All members of the home should be present during the 'meet & greet'-- including additional pets who live in the home.
-If Advocates 4 Animals determines that the pet is not a good fit for the potential adopter, this will be discussed at the time of the home visit.
-Every pet is different. Some pets have highly specialized needs (ie: type of environment, other pets, etc.) while others adjust easily to various environments. Felines typically take 2+ weeks to begin adjusting to their new home. All pets have been housed in foster homes while they wait to find a home to call their very own. All adoptable rescue pets are up to date on shots, treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and have been spayed/neutered.
-Advocates 4 Animals requires an adoption donation fee of $50.00 per pet. The adoption donation assists us in rescuing and rehabilitating additional homeless pets. Our organization is run solely on donations and with volunteers. Without your support we could not continue our efforts!
