Aunt Bee's Story...
Aunt Bee is a very old boxer who will live out her remaining years with BARC volunteers Allison and Jerry in Savannah. She was found as a stray in Pooler/Savannah Georgia, spent some time at the local animal control, and placed with BARC after her stray period concluded. Aunt Bee seems to have arthritis and trouble with her rear legs. At one time, Bee must have had a family who cared about her, but no one knows where they have gone.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aunt Bee, a Brunswick Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Brunswick, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Brunswick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brunswick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brunswick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brunswick paves the way for another one to be saved.
