Shiloh's Story...
*****This is a courtesy post***** Please email us for a screening form which we will pass along to his rescuer!

Shiloh has been in foster care since 7/08, but his foster parents are getting divorced and cannot keep him. He lives with other beagles and gets along fine with them - and kids!

Shiloh is about 5 years young and was a victim of the bully breeds with whom he once lived. He would, therefore, prefer a home without large dogs 'cause they're just too scary.

He loves walks and cuddling and all the attention you can give him. How sweet is that little face?!
Are you the one who can show this little guy that all people aren't mean?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiloh, a Brighton Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
