Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hoppy was injured in Horn Lake, Ms. He was taken to Open Arms Animal Hospital to be treated for a broken leg. No one ever claimed him.
Hoppy is only about 1 to 1 1/2 years old, neutered, heartworm negative and current on all his vaccines now. His leg may take a little longer to heal but he is in good spirits. He only weighs 7 1/2 pounds and is a true charmer.
If you are able to help us help Hoppy with his medical expenses, please make a donation. All are animals depend on donations to make a difference in their care. He has to go back to the vet to get his leg wrapped for the third time and these visits are costly. His vet bill is already $240 and still has a few more visits and x-rays before he's ready for a home. Please help us help Hoppy!
He has started using his leg so we did not have to amputate. He will have an x-ray in the next few weeks to make sure the leg is healing. He has some sort of skin condition now that has been checked out by our vet. No mites were actually found on the slide but we are treating just in case per our vets recommendation.
When he gets upset his skin will turn bright red, like his trips to the vet office. But after he settles down he sems to be just fine. He is not scratlching a lot. His personality is really coming out now that he feels so much better. He'd really like a canine friend that isn't too active. Humans he loves to give kisses especially on the ears......he's loves just sspending time with his human friend...a lap is great!
