Molly!'s Story...
Molly was just rescued from the shelter and needs a great home! Here is what her fostermom has to say about this cutie:

Molly seems to be a great girl. She is blending right in with the rest of us here, including the dogs :) :) I have had her with 2 of my dogs now and she is doing well with them!! Molly is a very mellow quiet dog, she paces alot...might be the shepherd in her, but still is NOT a hyper dog at all... She loves to lay on our bed or next to our feet!! I think she will be a VERY EASYGOING girl that could live with or without another pooch :) Molly DEFINETELY LOVES people!!! She is sooo gentle and kind!!! She loves attention but doesn't demand it, she just lays around the house(close by). She hasn't been destructive at all (inside or out). And she is eating and sleeping very well!!! And she doesn't mind the crate either!!!

Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website to learn more about our rescue group. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so. The dogs shown on the site are in fostercare - we do not have a shelter to visit. Email is the best way to reach us - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly!, a Sacramento Dutch Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
