Meet Josie! She loves spending time with two legged friends of all ages, especially if they like to teach her new games. A perfect day for Josie includes going for a jog, playing ball, meeting new people, and snuggling up for a nap on your lap. Josie enjoys soft beds, yummy treats, and belly rubs. Josie is about 5 years old and weighs in at only about 45 lbs. She is a great medium sized sweetheart!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury on Friday October 5th from 2-6pm. Saturday, October 6th CPR will be at PetSmart in Orange from 10am-2pm. Lastly CPR will be hosting an Open House at the center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury on Sunday, October 7th, from 10a-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested positive for heartworms and has been treated in our care.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
