This sweet and gentle soul is very loving and eager to please her people. She has been through some bad days in her life, had a couple litters of puppies, wasn't taken care of like she deserved to be, and yet she still loves people. Though she is shy at first, she craves attention and just wants to be loved. She walks great on a leash and stays close to the leash holder's side. Bailey also gets along fine with other calm and friendly dogs like herself. Bailey is still learning life in a home so she will needs some work with her new family. She would make a perfect and endlessly loyal companion to someone who is looking for one. Currently she is estimated to be about 2 years old and 55-60lbs.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR will be hosting an Open House at their adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury, CT on Friday, April 13th from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at PetSmart in Meriden, CT on Saturday, April 14th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting another Open House at their adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury, CT on Sunday, April 15th from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
