Josie Kitty's Story...
Josie's Cat-Tale: Josie was rescued from a kill shelter. She was four-paw declawed but NOT fixed. She's estimated being born about July 15, 2008. She's more of a Tabby/Calico mix and very cute.
She is hand-shy and possibly comes across as being hit/abused. She's playful but given some TLC, time and UNCONDITIONAL love- she warms up. As all cats that are declawed KNOW they've lost their best defense - nails. She is cute, sweet & just needs the right person who has the time and desire to love her for who she is. Being unfixed but declawed -shows that the previous owners possibly were not focused on controlling pet over-population.....

If you're interested in meeting her, please fill out the application completely at = we need COMPLETE city, state & zip codes with the street we get many people from all over the area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie Kitty, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
