Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harlow is a striking 3 year old female chocolate lab. She was picked up as a stray, and it seems her family never came looking for her either. She is a great size, not too big, not too small. She rides very well in the car. She hoped right into the crate and settled down for her trip across town. She appears to be housetrained, but needs a little work with walking on the leash and other basic commands. She is very affectionate and wants to be right with you...or on you, if you are sitting in a chair! Harlow seems to like other dogs, and her shiny rich chocolate coat adds to her natural beauty. Harlow will make a great addition to any family willing to give her a second chance at life.
UPDATE FROM A PROFESSIONAL TRAINER:Harlow is a very good dog. She is very confident and has the tendency to be very pushy and vocal. However, once she realizes she can’t push you around she is an extremely happy and bright girl. She knows how to walk on a leash, sit, and down. Unfortunately if she thinks she can get away with it she will act like she knows nothing. She is very food motivated and showed little interest in a ball. She will need to go to an experienced dog owners home where she will get the training and structure she needs. I was not able to test her with kids or other dogs. Again with the right owner I think she would be fine.
