Hurley is a 4 month old black Lab/Pit Bull Mix female. She was pulled from Salina Animal Control the night before she was supposed to be euthanized. Originally, Hurley came from a very nasty living situation, never having been outside. Instead, she lived in an apartment where she played, slept, and pottied. Her original owners were evicted and the owners of the apartment complex kicked Hurley outside to fend for herself in this big world. A gentleman that worked next to the complex picked Hurley up and took her to the shelter. The rest is history. Hurley loves to play with her rope toy and enjoys time with her big foster brother Jake & foster sister, Peach. Hurley has learned to sit, is currently working on potty training, and is also working on crate training. She is excelling at every task given to her. Hurley is looking for a loving, upbeat human family that is willing to give her the time, patience, and love needed to grow from the playful puppy
she currently is into a very well behaved adult girl. She does need a fully fenced backyard for potty breaks, but requires a family that will make her an inside pet. She said she doesn't want to live outside. She has too much love to share with everyone! She is UTD on all vaccinations, has been dewormed, micro chipped and has been started on Advantix & heart worm prevention.She will be spayed on February 11th.
