Autumn's Story...
Autumn is a sweet little one who is very quiet. She is B&S and only about 2/3 years old. She has cataracts and was seen by the specialist here in Cincy. Although we have never heard of this before, he assures us that she has dissolving cataracts. She will require eye drops for the rest of her life but her sight is not in any immediate danger. We will provide his phone number for serious adopters. The drops cost about $20 a month. Autumn needs a home where she is the only dog. She is dog aggressive and would do best in a home with a fenced yard. She is crate trained and housebroken and is very unassuming. Autumn loves to cuddle next to you in bed or on the couch but never demands attention. No toddlers please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a Cincinnati Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
