Toby's Story...
12/17/08- Poor Toby was rescued from a home where we think he was used as a bait dog. He came to the shelter with a big bite mark in his leg. Despite it all - Toby is an absolute doll! He gets along well with other dogs and would make a great family pup. He is only about 6 months old and has the most adorable expressions. Please consider adopting this bully - He is a lover not a fighter.

If interested in adopting or fostering Toby please call Joan at 870-739-5412 (between 1 and 5) or 870-739-1145. Allison may also be reached at 901-240-9848 if you have trouble reaching Joan.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Marion Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Marion, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
