Nick's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Nick's Story...
Nick wandered down the driveway oblivious to all the other dogs surrounding him and scolding him as he was a new-comer. Our best guess is that he is a hunting dog of a hunters that discovered he doesn't like to hunt. With his collar removed, he was abandoned and left to fend for himself. He did well...while thin, I don't think it took him but a week to make his way to Dogs Paws. He is gentle and loves loving. He will make a wonderful pet for children. Hunters.... Forget it!!!! He just wants to be an all American pet. That's what we intend to find for him too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nick, a Ellijay Hound (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Ellijay, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Ellijay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ellijay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ellijay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ellijay paves the way for another one to be saved.
