Chester's Story...
Chester is quite a character. He has more personality in one little paw than most cats have in their whole body!!! He was the easiest cat to bring into a foster home. He was found hurt on Christmas Eve and taken to the vet. His leg has a severe bite - and he had to be on medicine for several weeks for the infection. He took his medicine like a trooper. He had no part of wanting to stay in a foster room for long. He walked around the house and never growled or hissed at another cat. He seems oblivious to the world around him. He is soooooooooooo laid back. He loves to lay on your lap and watch television. He sprawls out all over you and enjoys watching IU and the Colts play. He also likes the Steelers and is anxious for the super bowl!!! If you are interested in this one a a kind cat----who is neutered, felv/fiv negative, and current on shots, email purrfectfriends@bellsouth.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a Clarksville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
